Mission Statement
Axis One, Inc., a non profit mental health organization of consumers of
mental health services in the state of Florida.
We believe that a happy productive life does not end for people at the time they are diagnosed with a mental illness.
Happy productive lives do end for the mentally ill when they try to obtain treatment for their mental illness from community mental health service providers.
Because of lack of funding, the mentally ill are provided with minimal therapies or turned away from services.
The state of Florida has under-funded mental health services for too many years. Florida Mental Health is in a state of Crisis.
